I figures I would hit up Rico's for day 100 of my taco quest, but by the time I got home from work Saturday night (yes, I said work on Saturday) it was after 9PM which is apparrently cut off time for tacos around my house. Rico's and San Jose were both closed, so I was forced to walk the extra 2 blocks to Safeway in order to procure the necessary ingredients to make that which I could not buy.
Senor Salty,
ReplyDeleteIn perusing your Taco Sports, I am left with one overriding question: Do you mean to tell us that there is not a single taco worth eating west of 19th Ave or south of Cesar Chavez? Ludicrous! Expand your horizons, Senor Salty! Go west, young man!
Lame day 100 buddy. And I even prompted you a week ago to get it together and celebrate this great occassion. I was down to fiesta : (
ReplyDeleteCamille you are the CTQC you need to exert more of your power! I think by this time you know casually prompting SSalty a mere week in advance is like suggesting a glacier make a right turn over night. Next time just tell him (before he starts drinking of course) “be at such and such a place at such and such time”, or “there will be twenty taco lovers at your house on the 100th day at noon have the crema ready”
ReplyDeleteFYI that was the first time I have ever typed “such and such” and it is kinda creeping me out…
mmmm.... Rico's... bastion of fine Taquerie! Or is is it taquery? Either way, why would you spend so many hours searching out what is so close and tasty. Although I still dream of the airport Andale!
ReplyDeleteTito: Dec. 20th, the family estate, gordos burritos (for me), tacos (for you), corona light (for all)- 7pm. Celebrating 24.
ReplyDeleteSee meelie- that is how it's done =)
long live gh3 nights, we will be back
ReplyDeletehmmmmmmm..... tasty Spice Mart's.... such trouble.... so fun.... next year, maybe it'll be a spicey martini a day? that would be a feat... I can't imagine having one in Hawai'i, but that goal would not detract from traveling. PS SFO to Cabo on sale now at United.
