"The Daily Taco" is your headquarters for all the latest news and events in my year-long quest to eat at least one taco each and every day.
Why would I set out to succeed in such a fantastic endeavor? The reasons are 3-fold.
#1) It's funny. This is the driving force behind my climb of the daunting mountain of tacos that looms before me.
#2) After much research, I have come to conclude that taco's may be the perfect health food! Each delicious pouch of Mexican goodness has the complex carbs (tortilla), protein (chicken, beef, pork, fish, ect.) , good fats (avocado) , fiber (beans) , and vegetation (salsa) to constitute a self-contained balanced meal.
#3) Most importantly: Taco's are just sooooooo damn TASTY!
As the the next 365 days (actually 366 because it is a leap year) tick by, I will be posting a picture of each taco I consume, along with a short (or long if I'm feeling particularly verbose that day) description of my experience with said taco.

Do Vegan taco's even count? Doesn't part of the tasty taco filling have to be meat of some sort? And don't say tofu counts as there is no tofu in Old Mexico...
Ya I heard they make a great vegan/bear taco. It's the only place in CA that has them because obviously it is hard to find bears which have only been fed vegans....but every once in a while one of those hippies falls out of the tree they were smelling up and viola, tasty vegan/bear tacos!

I take back my earlier comment, I am looking forward to finding the elusive Vegan bear meat taco's. Hopefully Snoelle and the Vegan Taco Lover can help me track these down. I feel like Davey Crockett now. Sweet!
